I went to Wal-Mart yesterday to get some things I either forgot or chose not to get last time, namely saline solution, eye drops, 3-in-one oil, and a plunger. I needed oil for my door hinges to my bedroom and bathroom, so I looked all around hardware and even a couple automotive aisles, right next to hardware, for something that would suffice, but I couldn't find it. I asked an employee, who told me I was looking for 3-in-one, and it was on a nearby automotive aisle. I had never heard of this particular product before, but it's made by the WD-40 company and it worked great and I guess it's the typical household lubricating oil. However, now that I've oiled my bedroom door hinges and they don't make a sound anymore, my door won't stay open. I guess they're too lubricated now. Conversely, our bathroom door won't stay mostly-closed; it creeps open if it isn't closed all the way. But they're both silent! :)

The only other thing I did Saturday was go to lab, which isn't going too great. And I watched the Falcons game. Unfortunately, both they and the 49ers lost. I predict it will be the Buccaneers and the Raiders in the Super Bowl. It looks like the Super Bowl is one week after the playoffs this year, as it was last year, instead of two weeks. There is usually a week off before the Super Bowl. I don't know why there isn't one this year...

Heh, I hear Adam listening to "Come Sail Away" by Styx. I LOVE that song. It's #3, behind "Hotel California" and "Comfortably Numb," among my favorite songs.
